About
I am an academic in the field of language, communication and discourse studies.
My research is located within the Theory of Text and Discourse Analysis. I am particularly interested in the mediation between discourse and society and the presence of power relations and ideologies in the production of discourse.
From this perspective, I am studying the structure and the production of discourse about death in ancient Greek literature.
I also realize linguistic analysis from the functionalist perspective. Especially, I analyze the typological features and morphosyntactic structures of Cabecar language.
